That’s the number of links listed in Google when you search the term “work at home”. I was looking for an idea about home based businesses when I Googled that simple phrase. Work at home a simple 3 word statement that is probably searched on millions of times everyday by millions of people all over the world.
300,000,000 links based on that simple phrase. As a person types that in and sees that huge number pop up what must they be thinking? Is everyone in the world looking for a way out of their jobs to find a way to work from home. Is this truly the wave of the future for a small portion of population it already is.
We’ve all heard the stories by now of people discovering huge successes working from home on their computers doing something on the Internet. We have all received those spam emails with the bold titles asking us to “JOIN A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FROM HOME”.
Now granted that is a large number you should however take into consideration that half of that number probably represents spammers and scammers and I am probably being generous by saying only half of them. There is also a very large portion of that number that are sites simply warning you about scammer programs out there. It’s simply amazing when you think about how a simple 3 word phrase like “work at home” can spawn so many links to so many sites.
So how do you tell the good from the bad. Research, research and more research. There tons of very real opportunities out there for people to truly work from home and tons more coming all the time. Check background info of the business opportunity, confirm viable avenues of contact and communication. Validate the history of the company and use your common sense. The old saying is old because it is still true to this day. If it sounds to good to be true it is! So to all you doing a search on “work at home” good luck weeding through those 300,000,000 links to find the right one for you.
